jameskm1984 Posted April 30, 2008 Report Share Posted April 30, 2008 I have a Netgear WPN824v2 router and I recently updated the firmware so that I could finally forward my port. Once I did that, the green light immediately turned on. However, I ran the uTorrent port checker and it stated that my port wasn't forwarded. Can anyone help me out please? Ultima Posted May 1, 2008 Report Share Posted May 1, 2008 Well, if you can consistently get the green network status icon, then you can generally ignore the port checker -- the port checker may be inaccurate because something might be sitting in between your browser and the server (like a proxy).
