Auto-update ipfilter with script in uTorrent

This script downloads lists from emulpawcio which offer good lists as bluetack. The ipfilter.dat downloaded from pawcio is 14MB while the ipfilter.dat downloaded with updater is 7MB, hence the first contains more blocks than second. The pawcio ipfilter contains 243000 items while updater filter (from peerguardian site) contains 214000 items. Why is not script good?

mike - that's just their opinions. If you want to use an IP filter list, go ahead and use one. You might not be able to download and upload to IPs that are friendly, but you provide yourself another layer of protection that was not there before.

There is also this one that works pretty good:

You could get uTorrent to save its log to a text file and do quick searches on it for banned ips.

It's even possible to disable most of the logging stuff BUT banning of ips.

Really, a repeat ip that is auto-banned by uTorrent...REALLY PROBABLY SHOULD have a way to be saved by uTorrent so it is banned the next time we launch uTorrent. Even if that's just an optional setting disabled by default, that's a worthy goal I think!
