Hi all, hope someone can help me here.

I keep getting a message telling me "Error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" and the d/l stops.

I've been on the faq and tried some of the appropriate things listed there. I've uninstalled Google desktop, I've turned off diskio.flush_files and I'm staying out of the d/l folder (to be honest I'm never in there anyway as my completed files go to another location).

I have nine files currently running (all .avi) and it only seems to be affecting two of them. This did happen with one file some weeks back which I managed to push through by frequently restarting it and all had been quiet until now.

I'm not sure what else to try, any help anyone can give would be hugely appreciated.

Yeah, just spotted that, they keep that quiet, I checked for that. I can't find it anywhere other than program files, any ideas on how I can disable or get shot of it?

If you can't uninstall it, turn it off... start->run->services.msc STOP, then DISABLE it

Go to Options|Advanced|Disk Cache

Uncheck Enable caching of disk writes

Uncheck Enable caching of disk reads.
