Nosnibor
OK here is the problem that i can NOT seem to fix....With my COMODO FireWall active i get a Yellow triangle @ the bottom of the screen that said little or no conectivity and when i test if port is forwarded properly it said not forwarded correctly and the files are downloading VERY SLOW. When i disable my COMODO FireWall I get a green circle and faster download speed. I have given uTorrent FULL access via my FireWall ( I think i've done it right???) I have had my PC only a short time and almost ALL of what i'm reading in this forum might as well be in a rare "Clingon" dilect. Any help would be greatly apreceated. Switeck
Allowing uTorrent in your firewall may allow uTorrent to make outgoing connections, but your firewall is probably still blocking "unknown" incoming connections bound for uTorrent. You have to allow incoming traffic for uTorrent's listening port in your firewall as well...for both TCP and UDP packets.
jewelisheaven
Ultima described the filters he made for Comodo @ http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=7862
Nosnibor
WOO HOO i finally got the nice little green circle @ the bottom of the uTorrent screen @ much better speeds. After following many steps including removing uTorrent from COMODO firewall & reincerting the uTorrent info back into my firewall nothing seemed to work. What finally worked was uninstalling my firewall then reinstalling it, adding the same info for uTorrent as i did b4. And i do mean THE SAME INFO. Now all is well. jewelisheaven
WTM is talking about your connection between the router and your computer (100 Mbit )markedly more than your connection. Hmm 1.5 Mbit on 4 Mbit down.. can you get much faster from http://slackware.com/torrents ?
