Belkin driving me mad!

Hello, could anyone out there tell me how to stop my router messing up my download speed? I have a Belkin G Plus MIMO. At first I got the yellow triangle on the bottom of the screen, now its a red circle. I know its probally easy when you know how.

Belkin routers as a general rule cannot handle more than ~60 connections at once, low half open rates, or handle all of of uTorrent's special features at once (such as UPnP, Local Peer Discovery, DHT, or Resolve IPs).

So you need to try disabling those special features and reducing half open rate and max connections and see if that helps.

...Plus, the firewall issue may be caused by something other than your router firewalling uTorrent.

Software firewalls are often hidden in antivirus and antispyware software now.

Even many modems often contain mini-routers and/or firewalls that need to be configured or disabled!
