dolbysnoopy
Perhaps other people may found it useful but I never used like the scheduler. Btw, 1.3.1 no longer support Win9x?
Firon
1.3.1 should support it just fine. Bugs in RSS are another matter. And the RSS support implemented in µTorrent is specifically for downloading RSS feeds with torrents. As for finding some, well, the only legal one I know of is broken. dolbysnoopy
My source of torrent files are usually from newsgroup/forums so I haven't any need for rss feeds. Tried the latest beta this morning, but it crash dump after running for 2 hrs, I switch back to 1.3 now.
Firon
Can you post your dmp files and run 1.3.1 to see if it happens to you again? And I guess you were running 98?
chaosblade
He was probably using b371, which had a crash bug and was fixed. Happened in 375 too i believe, already fixed aswell.
baronng
What is the usage of having RSS Reader in uTorrent?does it means that uTorrent would automatically start any torrent files publish via RSS ??
Firon
No, it won't automatically download torrents from the feed. It functions as an RSS client for torrent feeds only, and while you can make it auto-get certain torrents by using Favorites, you generally have to manually get the release by double clicking the release or choosing Open. Firon
If it still crashes on 376, please upload the dmps somewhere and post them here.
chaosblade
374 has a crash bug, so that should be the reason, not the fact it was on win98.
UnSuB
No, it won't automatically download torrents from the feed.Is this feature going to be implented later?
Vectorferret
No' date=' it won't automatically download torrents from the feed.[/quote']Is this feature going to be implented later? It is all ready there, using favourites. Unless you want to download every single torrent on the feed. Just enter what you want to search for and it will pick it up. Using the RSS isn't documented yet, but I found it to be pretty intuitive and I assume it will be added to the FAQ once it's no longer a beta feature.
