Noochie
This is my first time trying to seed a file. I found an faq on how to do it and I got it running, but it seems that I'm stuck in swarm, and I'm not sure if I'm actually seeding. Here's a picture:Could you please tell me if I am actually uploading, and what I can do to fix this.Thank you./Please thumbnail pics >50kb
Firon
You're not connected to any peers. And there only seems to be one peer in that swarm. In any case, try turning on peer.lazy_bitfieldHave you been able to seed any other torrent?
Noochie
Ok, This is what I have now:Seeds: 0(1) Peers: 3(9)I am uploading now, but it is very, very slow. Sometimes it even stops uploading completely.
Firon
Well, either they're very slow peers, or your ISP may be throttling your uploads...Try another torrent and see if the same thing happens?
Noochie
Ok, I tried another seed and I'm still getting 0(1)sorry, was just about to change it
Firon
Try torrents that have decent-sized swarms. You know, more than 1 or 2 peers (which might be only you).To my knowledge, Road Runner doesn't throttle uploads or BT.Edit: and thanks. It's just a forum rule to help the 56k users, and the fact that big pics get smashed up by the forum.
Noochie
Ok, it seems that people are downloading. One of them is at 40% now.But on the site I'm hosting the torrent on it says that there are 10 leechers, but only 3 are downloading. Can you explain this? Firon
They might be firewalled peers and can't receive incoming connections, which means they won't connect to you until they announce to the tracker.
