CPU problem

I always saw Utorrent as a very low resource program, but when downloading a very high file (12gig) it seems to effect both cpu and speed. Anyway to fix this?

I highly doubt that ProcExp would fail to run under Vista. Mark Russinovich wouldn't be silly enough to overlook something like that. Try redownloading it...?

Check what Firon asked you to check -- that none of the IDE/ATA ATAPI controllers' connected devices' current transfer modes are in PIO.

I'm sorry, i'm in the Device manager and looking at the 3 ide/ata ATAPI controllers i have and i can't find how to get the information if it's running in UDMA6 or PIO, how do i check this?

Both include oob messaging apps which... cause problems (afaik, it may have been patched).

Of course, i have 3 HDD's, one 300gig and two 250gig... I'll try relocating all the files to a diffrent drive and see the changes...

Cpu is ranging abour 3-4 but that's much better, i guess my D:\ Drive hasn't got a good transfer type =(
