segosa
Looks to me like Norton's being paranoid over uTorrent trying to access the internet and/or bypass the Windows firewall? Though I don't know whether it does that..

A-KO
I'm not too keen on using Norton anymore for any internet/virus protection. It's a resource hog and simply has too much bloatware for me to consider it to be even remotely useful on a PC. It can often times use more resources than if you had a virus in the first place! Though I will say, their corporate product is substantially better (Symantec Antivirus). On that note. It seems like a default block of some sorts, or you could have a virus on your system infecting executables with a trojan, or finally it could simply be a false positive.False positives aren't common, but do occur. If you feel that the program may have a trojan or a virus, I would scan it with multiple programs including the trendmicro online AV scanner. You can find that at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/As an alternative to NAV on your system, I would suggest something like AVG anti-virus. For one, it's freeware. For two, it's updated and a very good program to use and very low on resources for an AV.Pick that up at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/
vurlix
From now on, the download page will list md5sum hash information for our releases, which you can use to verify authenticity of the application. Our files will never contain any sort of trojan/virus/etc. If an antivirus detects such a thing in a verified file, it is most certainly a false positive.utorrent-1.1.exe md5sum e099ac0574d46d8ca2c862926e0b5629
