SubJunk07 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Just wondering if there is a hotkey for setting a new label?I use labels a lot, a different one for each torrent and I seed forever so there are hundreds of labels. It has gotten to the stage where in order to get to the "new label" option I need to hold the mouse down to scroll through the list for a long time. It takes less time than removing the torrent and just redownloading it from a website. Please say yes!
jewelisheaven Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I have 35 labels and I thought that was alot. Perhaps "New Label" should be at the top, heh You're aware you can filter your display of labels in the Category column right? Is there a reason you have ... individual torrent labels? Most people sort by category or genre or type of data it corresponds to.
SubJunk07 Posted May 7, 2008 Author Report Posted May 7, 2008 I feel like such a noob; of course! Thanks FironAnd the reason is just that I found it the best way to categorize things. I have the "name" column completely hidden except for a tiny bit so the icons are still visible, so instead of the "name" column I have the "label" column directly next to the arrow icons. Names are just so unpredictable, I prefer to have the names exactly how I want them.So for example if I'm seeding a copyright free TV show that my friend makes, and he asked me to seed for him, I would label it "zSeeding | TV Shows | Show Name | S04E01". The "z" is there just so it's always at the bottom, I like downloads at the top and uploads at the bottom.I'm not saying it's the best way to do things it's just a system that works well for me, and even better now thanks to FironOh and I don't see the option to have a Category column. I'm using version 1.8 (9704) Beta, maybe they got rid of that column for this release
jewelisheaven Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Sorry it's not a column, Press F7 The category PANE which shows is in a "column"Heh, I forgot about UP, Firon to the rescue.
