Incorrect stats with utorrent if disconnected

On some private trackers, it shows how much was downloaded and uploaded on each file.. If I do it with one session, the stats are always accurate.. But if my internet connection disconnects in between for a few minutes and then the download continues, about 100~200MB is is not shown each time per disconnection.

Is there a way to fix this, i.e., make utorrent announce it the next time since the previous announce failed?

Note: I never closed the client in between

utorrent retries more often than it normally would when the connection to the tracker fails, but if too much time passes, the tracker's sanity check will run, and you're out of luck.

There's really nothing you can do.

Okay, so that explains it. Sometimes my connection goes down for like 10 to 15 minutes. Is there a possibility that a "feature" is available in future versions under advanced options where you can set how long it should attempt to retry?

It retries forever. It never stops.

But the tracker will stop tracking you after a while, so any progress made after that point is lost. Your first successful announce will be treated as a "new" one.
