Asianguy88 Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 So my downloading speed isn't the problem, but I have listen error. The sign is red and it says I should "change the listen port"Any ideas on what should I do?Thanks..
Firon Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 You likely have a software firewall blocking utorrent from listening on a port. You'll need to configure it properly.
Switeck Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Bell Canada throttles/disrupts BitTorrent. If it's fine where you're at right now...keep waiting, it'll probably get worse in <6 months.
Asianguy88 Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 How do I configure it?Can u please show me it step by step? The only firewall I have is the windows firewall... vista sp1 by the way.
WazzaUK Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 Changing the port worked for me..... 6112 (usually use 49152) - of course port has to be forwarded properly on router and unblocked in any firewalls....Seems vista (im using 64bit ultimate SP1 with dynamic ip) doesnt like high ports......Out of interest some ISP's cap P2P speeds during network heavy load times...
