oceanrider
Hey all,I am using uTorrent (obviously) and it is being completely ridiculous. I am not ignorant to computers, I actually have a fair amount of experience.I am downloading the openoffice test torrent at around 200kb/s. It is uploading at around 50kb/s. 2 minutes ago it said i had no incoming connections (yellow flag). And now it says I don't have a port open (red flag). I am using BitDefender and have followed the guide to configure it with uTorrent. I have perfectly followed the guide to open a port, and I have port 15278 open on my linksys WRT310N router. I have a static IP set up. This is just really pissing me off.
jewelisheaven
If the peers on the OOo torrent don't show "I" under Flags, it's not so confusing. Is BitDefender the only software which would have firewalls? Many come with browser toolbars, or a bundled security suite or as part of antivirus suites.Have you tried out multiple testers such as the built in one and http://canyouseeme.org ? Is the modem listed @ http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htmTo check for other software first how about going to http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 and copy-pasting the HiJackThis log it asks you to create below.
