plump_mexican Posted May 8, 2008 Report Share Posted May 8, 2008 I was using utorrent for about a week and a half, then one day the yellow symbol at the bottom appeared. I went from around 200kb/s to >o.1Kb/s. my isp is Verizon access manager (a mobile internet card) my firewall is non-existent and I did all of the common procedures. "Unlimited" data is ~ 10-15/mo. and it's not unlimited. It's just higher than their default pittance.Can you still download the test torrents from http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php ? OpenOffice and Slackware should download at your sustained download speed. If they have trouble connecting to trackers or peers it may point you see what changed.
