Port Problem

having problem with my speed

so I check the speed guide &

run the test & i found out that

my port is not open..

I tried to randomized my ports

& end up all of them are closed..

I did tried to use portforward.com

but the problem is i dont have

the router, im connected

wirelessly..

sorry for being a novice

actually I'm new on this

torrent thing..

btw I tried all the steps on

the speed faqs of this forum

but none of them help

improved my dl speed.

im only getting like 5kb/s etc

Have you gone through http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php ? What was your speedtest down/up-load results?

Did you try downloading OpenOffice or Slackware for 1-3 minutes? What make/model is your router? Did you not find it @ http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm or do you not know what it IS?

i did went to the set up guide &

did most of the tips..

my speed test result is

DL:305 kbps

UL:871 kbps

& i did the math to turn those

numbers to KB & enter to preference..

& regarding the router

its a 2wire 3800 model..

i did went to the website

but the problem is I cant

continue the set up because

I dont have the router interface

because I'm only connected wirelessly >:[
