jewelisheaven
In any explorer window, go to tools-> folder options, file types, go down to .torrentYou should be able to click "delete". Then say OK, go back to uT or wherever, then click the associate with torrents, or if you prefer in your explorer window, right click, open/open-with, click uT, click "save as default" and you're good to go. bigreddaddy
it was already associateed to ut but i did as you sujested an the problem still existswhat is a helper aplication?
jewelisheaven
So you removed the entry in file types? The helper application is what the programs you associate with certain filetypes are called.>< Perhaps your settings in Firefox were broken. http://kb.mozillazine.org/The_associated_helper_application_does_not_exist tells you how to check. Perform the same maintenence, and it should be fixed.

jewelisheaven
I misread your first post. It seemed to indicate the browser more than your Windows. But in any case, re-making the association would fix it. And it sounds like you're back to working
