Swurveman
Hello,I have a DD-WRT v23 control panel and and connect to Utorrent through UPNP port mapping.Without my doing so, in my "UPNP Forward" tab of my control panel an application called "svchost (192)" has been enabled with a UDP protocal and specific WAN and LAN ports.Anybody know what's going on? jewelisheaven
svchost is windows networking application... you should be able to figure out what it's mapping through the port numbers. What's the port number, and IP range it's accepting from? Swurveman
The WAN Port is set as 59341The LAN Port is set as 3270EDIT:This is really strange. Now, the svchost application of UPnP forward changed to a WAN port of 9413 and LAN Port of 1029
jewelisheaven
Well if you want to check it out more fully, I'd run HiJackThis from trendsecure.comIt will show you everything installed and running.
GTHK
Do you have Teredo installed? Mine does that with Teredo installed.
jewelisheaven
Which port? It should NOT just change all willy-nilly.
GTHK
Not a clue, I disabled Teredo a week or so ago. I'm just pointing out that svchost will appear because of it... it's possible the ports will change if there's a connectivity issue.
