Crashes ater 10sec due to Windows Internet Sharing.

Short story so far.

I'v used Azureus for a long time but some time ago I started to get strange error msg and it would crash now and then. So, I decided to try a new torrent program, uTorrent, and see what happend. It crashes 10 sec after starting no matter what I did.

After using computers for a while I know the slogen "If it aint broken, dont fix it", so I thought that I must have done something to make Azureus not working properly and this is probably the same thing that crashes uTorrent. Lucky for me that I have a good deal of experience thinking back at what I did and did not do to "fix" stuff that aint broken, like updating all sorts of drivers. But, one major thing I did was buying a laptop and placing it on my 2nd net connection and enabling Windows' Internet Sharing.

So, first thing I did was unenable that, and just in case remove the cable, and uTorrent runs just fine

Does uTorrent crash because of buggy Windows Vista Internet Sharing or because the program never takes into account dual net connections with Internet Sharing? To quote Space Quest: "Whops, you did something we didnt think of"

... uT doesn't crash on its own. Usual problems for crashing are buggy drivers or http://utorrent.com/faq.php#Incompatible_software

If you want to check out the latter go through the procedure @ http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 for at least a HiJackThis log, and maybe a Process Explorer DLL list for utorrent.exe too and copy-paste it below.

Also, do you get a crash dump? Can you post it for me to look at? It should be in C:\Program Files\uTorrent

We wanted the dll list for the utorrent process

I see the NVIDIA firewall there (aka nforce firewall). That's almost certainly the cause. There are major bugs with the NVIDIA firewall, ranging from crashes to severe memory leaks in applications.
