Guardian-Mage
I get slow download speeds, but I believe it is because uTorrent won't connect to peers. Seeds: 5 (885) Peers: 0 (378)Ports are forwarded, icon on the bottom is green, and encryption is enabled. I am in Nova Scotia, Canada, and with Bell Aliant Extreme High Speed quoted at 15mbs. Any ideas?

jewelisheaven
Indeed http://www.thestar.com/sciencetech/article/407730 made news a while ago about it.Your options are to follow best practices under http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 post #2 to see if you can make it less noticeable. And using 1.8 wouldn't hurt, but be advised the current builds are working through certain other connecting / UPnP problems. http://download.utorrent.com/beta/utorrent-1.8-beta-9704.upx.exe served me quite well.
