godsmathetes Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Hey, whenever I isohunt a file it automatically tries to open in windows media player (I've got windows vista home basic). Can someone please help me with this problem? Thanks alot.
jewelisheaven Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 There's a button in uT (Ctrl-P) Preferences "Associate with .torrent files". Have you tried that?
godsmathetes Posted May 11, 2008 Author Report Posted May 11, 2008 Yes, I've just tried it and it is still giving me the same thing. I do not have a router, and earlier today my system crased while attempting a download (was working fine before then). I'm new to this so excuse me for the weirdness.
jewelisheaven Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 OK. so your Windows setting is OK. How about changing the filetype in your browser. What browser do you use? In Firefox there is a guide which takes you where you should look.. for the .TORRENT filetype and remove it so you can reset, or change it to uT @ http://kb.mozillazine.org/The_associated_helper_application_does_not_existThere should be a similar setting under Options in IE.
