Waynehead69
Hello All, Sometimes when I'm downloading something it'll get almost done at like 99.9%, then it'll go back down to 99.1%. Why does this happen?
jewelisheaven
If you check the Logger tab do you see "piece failed hash check"?http://utorrent.com/faq.php has a mention of other causes for 99% behaviour. Are you running DMZ off your router/modem ?
Waynehead69
What is DMZ?
jewelisheaven
DMZ stands for demilitarized zone, and is a common way routers specify a peer to NOT be behind its protective shield.A better question would be.. is your router listed @ http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm ?You should know the make AND model of the hardware between you and your ISP. iammental
thank you for your response about my speed problem. were can I find the disk cache? you say to go to advanced then disk cache, but were do I find the advanced tab?
jewelisheaven
? Noone said anything about Disk Cache in this thread. However when most people are given instructions, you should start with Preferences (Ctrl-P in the uT GUI). Download and read http://download.utorrent.com/utorrent-help.zip if you want to mess with any of the preferences though... some of those settings can negatively impact your uT experience.
