simply stops

I am using Windows XP. Utorrent 1.8 ADSL

For weeks I have been trying to pinpoint the problem. It now seems if I stop working on my computer uTorrent stops after a few minutes.

At first I thought it might be the screen saver. Then power settings - all are set to never.

When it stops, if I simply click my cursor on it, it starts downloads and uploads again. I also use uTorrent on another computer and it can run all night. Not this one.

I looked at all the settings and all seem the same.

I am using ADSL on both but different modems.

If it is the modem, then why when I start to use the computer does uTorrent start again? I have not changed anything. Seems like it does not like running more than 10 minutes or so by itself.

Any ideas?

... Ctrl-P -> Downloads -> Other Settings "Prevent Standby..." is that ticked? I'm not sure about screensaver being relevant.. it's the OTHER states of your computer's "power saving" mode which may need a look at.

Prevent Standby is ticked.

Now my other computer is doing the same. This leads me to believe it is the ISP doing something.
