1c3d0g
No man, you seriously need to broaden your knowledge on BitTorrent. :/ BitTorrent is all about sharing back at least what you've leeched, but it's considered good manners to share beyond what you've taken, thus giving back to the community so that others can also enjoy the content you've downloaded. Don't be a leecher, be a seeder! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BittorrentEdit: take 15 minutes of your time to read it thoroughly, if you don't have that, take 5 minutes, and focus on the "Etiquette" section. Firon
Lower your upload too much and your download speeds suffer. You should generally use about 80% of your actual upload speed as the upload cap.
Ellada
When you say 80% of your actual upload speed as cap, do you mean this:I have 1024/256 so 80% of my upload (256) would be 204kBs as Cap? Did I understand this correct?
kurahashi
204kbit/s (not kilobytes!), yes
Switeck
Your line speed is rated in kilobits/sec, upload and download speeds are rated in KILOBYTES/sec...which are roughly 8-10 times larger. So your upload speed would be 20-26 KB/sec, depending on what's most stable/gives best results for you. radha65
Many users in India are paying the same amount of money for a dial-up, they could be getting a 50 times faster connection with a DSL. So what i suggest is to do a google search on some of the best Internet Service Providers here in India. I personally recommend Bsnl Broadband. Bsnl provides a home plan, offering bandwidth around 256Kbps upto 2Mbps with monthly charges of Rs 250, with a free download/upload limit of 1GB. Bsnl also has special plans for the rural areas. However, if you are a heavy internet user and download lots of stuff from the web, you must opt for the Bsnl Broadband's Home Unlimited Plan. The plan includes unlimited download, upload from the internet and comes with a monthly charge of Rs750 and Rs1350. Paying Rs1350 you basically get a download speed of around 45-60KB/s which is quite something. you can chk the internet speed test from http://www.ip-details.com/
