mdclxvi
when setting up a torrent you are given a selection option to check parts of the torrent to download. It would appear that after a subset has been selected you still get the whole torrent. Am I correct in this? and if so is there any way of downloading just a part.I'm a bit new to this
jewelisheaven
... No, when you de-select files you can verify they aren't being downloaded in the Files tab. It will say priority "Skip". You can manually select after adding by STOPPING the torrent, and right clicking the files and selecting "Do Not Download".

jewelisheaven
Truthfully you don't need to STOP the torrent to skip... and in all fairness it doesn't hurt anything, in-progress pieces are continued on skipped files until completed but nothing NEW is downloaded for those files (unless it's a cross-file piece)Feel free to post em up here 1666.
