Opine Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 I've got access to a Socks5 Proxy and have been trying to use it with uTorrent. It seems to work fine but I'm curious about a thing. If I set up the IPfilter to block everything BUT the Socks5 Proxy IP, nothing is being downloaded/uploaded.... and that is even when nothing is being blocked. So how can that be when 'use proxy server for peer-to-peer connections' is enabled - I thought it meant that all connections would be through the proxy server... ?I use version 1.7.7 and has a port opened for incoming connections, which work fine.
