jewelisheaven Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 Bittorrent uses SHA hashing to verify pieces (Yes SHA is similar to CRC as a verificatio mechanism). All a failed hash check means you need to download that data again. One thing to ntoe is if you keep seeing failed hash checks and "banned IP" messages in the logger tab.
