apple2005 Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 Hi! I am new here. I am having dsl connection of 256kbs. My utorrent is downloading at speed of 3.5kB/sec to 6kB/sec or sometime more. Is this speed ok? Secondly I cannot forward my port and there is yellow sign. What can I do? Please tell me in simple words not technical dilemmas.Thanks a lot in advance. It is worth mentioning that I am using Thomson Router for my dsl connection.Secondly I questioned that my speed on 256kb connection is sometimes upto 10kB/s but usually 4 to 7kB/s. Firon Posted May 22, 2008 Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 You need to forward ports in your router as well, otherwise your speeds won't really be great.What is your upload cap set to? You need to set it low, but not so low that your download gets restricted.
