Fei Posted December 26, 2005 Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 Ok I knew my IP was ***.***.**.100 which I forwarded the port at...today I log in and opened uTorrent and notice the dreaded NAT error at the bottom...so I type in ipconfig in DOS and notice that the IP has changed to ***.***.**.101 This has never happened to me before...what might be the reason? Firon Posted December 26, 2005 Report Share Posted December 26, 2005 It means your router doesn't statically assign IPs to a MAC, and this time another device on the network "stole" your IP.set your PC up with a static IP like 192.168.1.3, read the portforward.com instructions for how to do it.
