donot Posted May 24, 2008 Report Share Posted May 24, 2008 I have DSL and a Speed Stream 5100 and it seems that when I have the DSL connected directly to the modem and then open utorrent, a little while after the modem will hang up and I have to restart the modem again. But then I go through my WRT54G v5 router it doesn't do that. Anyone know why its doing this? Anyone know how to fix this cause there are times were I don't need to use my wireless router and just use the modem directly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GTHK Posted May 24, 2008 Report Share Posted May 24, 2008 I'm not sure without looking it up but I think that modem is actually a broken router, to stop it from hanging you have to either lower your settings in µT or, preferable, set the "modem" to bridge mode.
