englishmen
The ability to select a priority in the Torrent Add dialog box would be great, cheers.
HoochieMamma
Does that bandwidth allocation stuff even work? I don't seem to see a difference if I set it to low or medium or high :/
englishmen
I have only used it to prioritize certain files with a torrent and the files that i have prioritized do seem to finish a lot quicker then the other files within the same torrent. jroc
@HoochieMamma: The bandwidth allocation works for upload speed. (I read somewhere in these forums that it doesnt work for down speeds.) I use it when Im seeding. I dont know if it works while u downloading, tho. englishmen
When i said"I have only used it to prioritize certain files with a torrent and the files that i have prioritized do seem to finish a lot quicker then the other files within the same torrent."i was indeed referring to download speed. Firon
Bandwidth allocation only has to do with upload speed, but it can and does affect download speed as a side effect, since giving more upload to a torrent is likely to make it go faster (and slow down the others)
