samiam1
[2008-05-25 12:43:55] IO Error:6 line:664 align:512 pos:19404980 count:-99 actual:-99that message was displayed in the logger, and "Error: the handle is invalid" was where it normally says seeding or downloading...I reset bans, force rechecked the torrent and now everything is running smooth. Was that a hard disk error or a utorrent error etc.? That is what happened and now it is up and at it again so i didn't know weather it was a bug, my computer, and because i fixed it i didn't put it in troubleshooting. hope this is the right place and isn't a hdd about to fail on me! Ultima
Hrm. What are your disk cache settings like? Can you try disabling diskio.coalesce_writes?
samiam1
all checked except the top (overwrite size) and the last (disable windows cache of disk reads). Ill disable diskio.coalesce_writes too. Is there any documentation that explains all of the advanced options in depth?
Ultima
The user manual describes the options in depth, but it doesn't describe this problem specifically, as it's a very obscure one :|

Firon
Could be a bad sector on your drive. Run chkdsk /R on the drive.
