Wapoochee
Does it matter? I will say that it seems there is a dramatic number in leechers than usual. I seem to usually have about 30 and i have 2 or 3.I need to know if i should create another and post it again? Thanks!
Ultima
Well, if you uploaded it to a public tracker, making it private is somewhat silly, so yes, I would recreate it as public and reupload it. If it's on a private tracker... well, I guess it doesn't really matter.
Wapoochee
It is not on a private tracker. I accidentally had it checked and i dont know what difference it will make. Will it make a difference?
Ultima
It shouldn't make much of a difference, no. The only thing is that depending on what site you uploaded it to, there may be something on the index indicating that the torrent is private, which may keep some people away from it (particularly, those that avoid private trackers). Also, the torrent can't be shared over DHT.
Switeck
If you're firewalled, it is VERY slow to try to upload a new torrent with the private torrent flag checked.Private torrents will also probably be a little slower if LOTS of peers are firewalled.Peer Exchange won't work with private torrents, which means the only way peers (and seeds) can find out about each other is from the tracker itself. So my opinion...remake the torrent as a public torrent.
