Sphinxxykitten13
Hi! I just created my first few torrents, what are some ways I can make my uploading speed most efficient? *I'm not downloading anything*I'm not connected to a router When I did my speed tests my average speeds wereUpload 275 kb/sDownload 3500 kb/sU torrent usually only seeds 1-2 torrents at a time with an average speed of 5.0 kb/s.That just seems REALLY slow, but maybe its because I have a low upload speed. I'm not so sure when it comes to figuring out whats fast and whats crawling. Any ways to help me seed faster? Also my Upload speed changes depending on time of day between 275 and the 500's. Could this be a factor too? :/ Sorry if I sound dumb, I've been sorta going through this in the trial and error way. Some Settings I have from reading other topics in the forum.Global Bandwidth LimitingAutomatic is checkedNumber of ConnectionsGlobal maximum number of connections: 130Maximum number of connected peers per torrent: 10Number of upload slots per torrent: 3Use additional upload slots if upload speed is <90% checkedMax number of active torrents: 2Max number of active downloads: 0Seeding tasks have higher priority than downloading tasks checkedDo you think I need to change any of my settings? Thanks. Edit: Nevermind. I had given up hope, but somehow overnight it went from between1-5kb/s to between 20-30kb/s uploading. I still don't know what the problem was though. Switeck
Try the 256 kilobits/second upload speed setting in my 2nd link in my signature.
