Jules55
Usually when I'm only seeding, my upload rate is pretty consistent, but whenever I'm downloading, the green line always go up and down. - In the first 5 minutes of downloading, I was maxing out my download pretty much now it's randomly moving up and down.Is there a way to make the download speed more consistent? Switeck
Not as flat as your upload, no.But download speed can be a little more consistent if your uTorrent settings are balanced for your connection.
Jules55
Right now I have 4 upload slots and 10kB/s for maximum upload since it never goes past 9 while I'm downloading, but I keep the upload rate at unlimited when I'm only seeding. Is that good?
Switeck
No, even when only seeding you'll upload more if you put in upload speed limit that doesn't constantly overload the line and cause the ISP to randomly start dropping your outgoing upload packets.4 upload slots is a bit much for only 10 KiloBYTES/second total upload speed....and that's far worse if you're running more than 1 torrent at a time. How fast is your internet connection both down and up?And does your ISP throttle BitTorrent traffic?
