HelpMeWithThis Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 I never had this problem before, normally I limit my upload speed to 12kbs which enables me to hit roughly the highest download speeds capable of my internet connection.Now, the upload limit isn't even working. It stays at around 2-3kbs, jumps to 40-50kbs, and slow climbs down again. It is severely affecting my download speed, I'm getting a fifth of what I'm usually getting.I've checked the limit local peer bandwidth thing. But it isn't working. Any ideas? I reinstalled my uTorrent but nothing is working.
jewelisheaven Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 What's your line's upload? Are you still connecting to a normal amount of peers? What about the time interval for this "Spike".. if you search for spike speed you'll come up with other posts by users. Is it possible you're being perma-shaped due to exceeding quota or other AUP / FUP (usage policy) with your ISP?
