churchi
hey all, well im having a bit of a problem getting this BC like file selector box to appear when i add a torrent.usually i just add them from inside my opera window and in the older version it would just flash in the task bar then add the torrent in default spot.today i had tried something different, (keep in mind im using the latest beta) i saved the torrent, then added it without the default save path. now that little box popped up.is that the only place its meant to pop up? if so its pretty dam annoying. i though the idea was to have it also popup when i click i torrent off a web page, but still in the latest beta it just adds it into the queue straight away without popping up the box.btw i do have the option ticked in the preferances to say for it to popup.is anyone else having this issue?i hope its not a really stupid IO (idiot operator) error that im responsible for
Firon
"Put new downloads in:" overrides the dialog, because it's designed to auto-save a torrent to a specific location without any further interaction. Don't use that option and you'll get the dialog always.
brAinLo0p
churchi, I have the same thing happening on my µTorrent here too. I couldn't get the dialog box to open, and only managed to get see it while adding a torrent with no default save path. Obviously, this is still a beta, so a lot of work still needs to be done on that feature. I'm really happy that it's finally being implemented in µTorrent though. Ludde, you have to make it so that the dialog window for selecting files is resizeable, that little narrow dialog box does not cut it to see the names of individual files properly; we have to be able to make it wider. Also, when you select multiple lines (multiple files) and you press the space bar to toggle the selection on and off, there is only one line (file) affected by the change and the others remain unchanged. Thanks for the hard work, Ludde! :¬)
Benjamin3005
hi .i am using the system /torrents for 100% files /torrents/temp for the in download progress torrents.that worked flawless untill the manual add thing came up, what i really like, i saw it by my cousin´s bitcomet.so there is this flaw, were the manual add wants to save into the path "/torrents/temp" folder as default, but not into the "/torrents" folder.so i everytime have to change this folder so my finished downloads wont end up in the TEMP folder.hope you understood the problem. it would be just nice if the manual add feature would remind the last used folder, or would use the "move finished downloads to" folder, and not the "put new downloads to" folder thx in advance
