Petra-Babe
Hi,For some reason my disk keeps overloading when i am downloading. I have attempted the solutions that are listed in the FAQ, but my disk continues to overload. I have attempted to override the automatic cache size, but it just catches up and overloads again. I'm also only downloading 2 files and seeding 24, and I have downloaded and seeded more at other times, so i'm not too sure what is wrong. If anyone has any suggestions of how to fix this problem, please let me know.Thank you
jewelisheaven
Are your controllers for the disk set to DMA or PIO start->run->devmgmt.msc
Firon
The overload will happen about a minute in when it allocates the data. Wait a while and it should go away.
Petra-Babe
I know that overloading can happen when i first start downloading a torrent, but it was occurring after my file had been downloading for over 20 minutes.Jewelishheaven: I did what you suggested but i couldn't find whether the disk was DMA or PIO...I have Vista does this make a difference?Thank you
jewelisheaven
It should still have the "current transfer rate" somewhere.. maybe not off the separate disk controller. Check for an onboard listing for disk controller
