kevinf80 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Hi there,What problems are you having? your log looks ok. Only one item needs fixing ............O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)The rest of your log seems fine, can you give more information on issues that you have.Kev.
jewelisheaven Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 not especially.I'd actually look at that seagate helper utility... what does it do? You uninstalled something called O23 - Service: PLFlash DeviceIoControl Service - Unknown owner - D:\Windows\system32\IoctlSvc.exe (file missing) and it didn't go cleanly apparently.
cemadee Posted June 11, 2008 Author Report Posted June 11, 2008 thanks for your help guys:when ever i start to download a torrent, the torrent will download for up to 5 minutes, and then it will just stop and say Error: Torrent error, this process is being used by another process! also on occasions my RAM is just getting eaten away when i run Utorrent. Now when u mention about the seagate. come to think about it, it was working fine, until plugged in the external drive. maybe that does have something to do with it?!?how would i go about lookin at the helper utility!? ill have a look at things you mentioned! if u have ne other ideas or help! id be grateful!thanks again!cem
wendi413 Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 I just got a new laptop and was having the same issue (hence finding this thread last night). I just got the laptop yesterday and installed uTorrent, which was working fine until I wanted to setup streaming with my Xbox360, and it started giving me this error. Spent most of last night trying to (a) get my Xbox streaming and ( get this fixed. This morning I finally found a page that fixed my Xbox error, and it appears to have fixed uTorrent as well. I am by no means a techie, I just do what I can via Google search *lol* This may be helpful for some of you as well, so I thought I'd share! You can probably ignore the WMP step, but these are the exact instructions quoted from m_archer92 at http://forum.teamxbox.com/showthread.php?t=5859751) End the Windows Media Player process TREE, to end all associated processes.2) Go to Start>Run>services.msc3) Scroll all the way down to find Universal Plug n Play Host4) Right click, and Restart the process5) Right click again, go to Properties6) Change the Startup from Manual to AutomaticMy Xbox worked immediately, and uTorrent has not given me that error in the past hour (it was doing it every 5 min) Might help some of you, worth a shot!
