ron7 Posted June 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 Earlier when I did an ipconfig the IP was 10.8.7.222 but now I checked again and it is 10.8.14.85 and DHCP is not enabled. But my external IP is 66.175.109.145. It seems that the IP on ipconfig is dynamic while the external IP is static. I read on a website that if DHCP is showed as disabled in ipconfig, then the IP is a static one. Is this true?I am using a BlackBerry as a modem. I tried the test on Glasnost to see if my ISP was throttling my torrent downloadsand the results showed that my ISP was not interfering with my downloads.
