jenga122
Had utorrent on old computer (purchased it somewhere cuz i was an ignorant noob) and everything worked awesome with downloading mp3's and avi files. The problem is I got a new computer and I downloaded the free version of utorrent and nothing is the same. I do a search for "fxg" or "axxo" and a bittorrent site comes up and says the file cant bhe found. You know what I'm talking about. Do I need to do something different and if so ho do I do it. It says it is only searching bit torrent. How do I make it search in othere places. I just need my old setup back the way it was on my old computer but on this new one. Just so noone says to copy program from old computer....the hard drive has been completely formatted and there is no way to retrieve the file.. Thank you in advance for any info. you can give me.Jenga

Ultima
How not? If the torrent site doesn't have the .torrent file you're looking for, searching other torrent sites is the only thing you can do. Google is among the simplest way to do that. jenga122
i understand that but it still doesnt get my utorrent back to working like it did in any way shape or form. I cant even do a search through utorrent, i have to ignore u torrent and go to isohunt and then click on file to get it to go to utorrent. Does this make sense to you or is something messed up on my end.
Ultima
Oh. It doesn't open up your browser when you try to search? In that case...Start > Run > control appwiz.cpl,,3 > Custom > Choose a default Web browser:Select your browser, and make sure "Enable access to this program" is checked. As for getting µTorrent back to how it used to be... There isn't anything we can do about that -- only you can attempt to reconfigure things as you remember them to be.
