jewelisheaven
Is there a reason you haven't updated to 1.7.7?--- 2008-01-25: Version 1.7.7 (build 8179)- Fix: remote crash bug in WebUI- Fix: (potential) remote crash bug with extension protocol (affects all 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 builds released to date)--- 2008-01-15: Version 1.7.6 (build 7859)It's possible you've just gotten the UPnP bug which is fixed in 1.8... do you use UPnP or have it enabled in Preferences? jewelisheaven
Right but is it enabled in Preferences? Even though it says there is no dump file, it may still be saved in %APPDATA%\uTorrent next to the one you submitted. When does it crash? Are you usually doing anything specific while it crashes?Like I said you should update to 1.7.7 from http://utorrent.com/download.php or through the auto-updater. salatoimikud
i find this:Norman Virus Control also has this issue (niphk.dll is the Norman component that causes it). If you wish to continue using Norman, you must disable the Internet Protection module:Right click the N-icon in the system tray > Configuration Editor > Norman Virus Control > Components. There you can open the tab 'Start', and disable the Internet Protecion module.I try this.
