No, it doesn't do anything like that. That happens because your upload is spread across a lot of torrents, and peers in said torrents give YOU less bandwidth. If you have something like 4 slots, and 50kb/s upload, running 5 torrents means you'd have 20 slots, and would be giving a mere 2.5 KB/s to each peer (probably less).

That's expected, because you're using most of your line bandwidth. Downloading uses upload too, so when you add that with the uploading you're already doing, you get close to, or at your line's upload speed.

Get cFosSpeed or something if you want that to not happen.

Sorry to keep bumping this thread, but I am running into some major problems. I'm on a torrent with one seeder and it keeps dropping off. At one point, an error read "access denied." Is this a faulty setting? Also, are these settings correct:

Global Max. Connections : 200

Max. Number of Connected Peers : 50

Number of Upload Slots : 4
