cardlover
Sorry if this is repeated so many time, but I'm too tired looking for the solution for an hour...Usually I get 200-300 kB/s but now I'm getting 24 kB/s... I have really good seeders (like 19 seeders with 11 leechers) and the maximum download I can go is 30 kB/s. I downloaded another torrent, and I'm still getting 24 kB/s. I don't have any limits on it.Port is working, green sign on the bottom is working.I have Primus DSL and I'm in Canada.EDIT : I did download beta, but nothing changed. and with openOffice it's still maximum 30 kB/s...but upload is good...it's the downloading that's the problem. jewelisheaven
I'm not sure who your ISP peers with... but if it's Bell it's likely you're shaped between 4p-2a daily.
cardlover
This is not just with one torrent...there's more than 4 actually
Firon
What is your upload cap set to?
Switeck
Primus DSL may be getting throttled by Bell Canada (Sympatico) because they share lines/circuits.
cardlover
for firon - how do you find out the upload cap? but if you mean the slot it's 4.for switeck - how do i stop them from throttling? I want bigger bandwidth than this 24kB/s...for the first guy, what does 4p-2a mean?
Ultima
Upload cap = upload rate limit4p-2a = 4PM-2AMThrottle = not much you can really do about it, if µTorrent 1.8 doesn't help
Switeck
cardlover,uTorrent's encryption features might help...but definitely no guarantees there! Are you using uTorrent v1.8?
cardlover
oh thanks, yea im using 1.8 and upload cap is 72Kill look up to encryption, where's that?
Switeck
Are you actually sustaining an upload speed of 72 KiloBYTES/second?(It should if your connection is ok!)This tells about encryption in Azureus:http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Avoid_traffic_shaping...uTorrent's settings are similar though not identical in name.
