ShadowMachine
Ok what gives?Utorrent use to work great with me, now it is starting to suck. Hears the deal, when I'm downloading music files, it instantly freezes my computer. My Internet works fine when I don't have it activate it. But when I do SLAP. Instant freezes. Same goes for Peersguardian. When activate both programs, all HELL breaks loose. Can anybody give me a solution? :/
jewelisheaven
Usually that's signs of a software problem (That or drivers). What AV/security/firewall software do you use? Follow the troubleshooting sticky to get a hijackthis log and paste it in this thread.
ShadowMachine
I use ESET smart security, windows defender, and Spybot.
jewelisheaven
Did you recently update ESET? I'm not sure if that smart security is NOD32... but in that program you need to setup uT as an exception in the http browser scanner... there should be instructions in the ESET thread. Firon
It's probably ESET being weird again.
RcK17
I have the same problem, and also ESS installed. But I haven't updated anything recently, exluding virus definitions.. Let's see if setting up uTorrent as an exception helps...
