mak3090
I have been uTorrent for a long time... But recently... there has been some problems with my router... so changed into a new one & also installed a new version of kaspersky... I hav added uTorrent to my trusted zones & still the problem persists. And i have also tried it through the diagnostics which my router ( BEETEL 220BX1) offers. That is the i added the port number through the diagnostics... Still its the same... What shall i do 2 change it 2 "NETWORK OK"??
Ultima
Uninstall Kaspersky temporarily until you fix the router port forwarding. What modem are you using (or is the BEETEL the modem as well)? Have you set a static IP up for your computer outside of the router's DHCP range?
mak3090
OK. After uninstalling kaspersky what shal i do? Can u be a little more specific. I meant how to do the router port forwarding. And yes.. I am using the BEETEL modem. MODEL NO.: 220BX1. Think its static IP. I checked out the ipconfig. Think it is static IP. Sorry about the details i have been specifying... I am new to all this. If u need more please do tell. Hopefully i can make it green.
chippy1kid
you have to log into your modem and allow the port for incoming connection and also select Upnp and you should get you ok sign and also make sure your firewall is not blocking it

Ultima
http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htmFirst, make sure you set a static IP up for your computer outside of the router's DHCP range. What that range is can be discovered from your router's configuration page. How you access that page... well, the next link will tell, but don't do anything else in the link until you actually set a proper static IP up.http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Beetel/220BX/Utorrent.htm(I'm not really sure how you're adding µTorrent to Kaspersky's trusted list if it's supposed to be uninstalled...)
