zetor12
Hi, I have the yellow "No incoming connections" icon when connected to my router but if I remove it and connect directly I get the nice green icon:) so does this mean that it cannot be a problem with my Firewall and A/V and the problem has to lie with the router? I have opened the correct port with the aide of Portforward.com. I do not have a static address, how important is this? it seems to be not too straight forward to set one with Vista, but then again uTorrent works fine how it is until I go through the router.uTorrent 1.7.7Vista Home Premium SP1Kaspersky 7.0.1.321Windows FirewallLinksys WRT54GC
Firon
If you connect directly to your modem and you get the green icon, then it is an indication that your router is improperly configured for port forwarding. Many routers will not forward a port unless your computer is set to use a static IP. zetor12
Thanks that helps me, I can now concentrate on the router which looks like I will have to set up a static address.
