Crashing randomly sometimes daily, sometimes weekly

Ever since I switched to utorrent 1.7.7 I am getting crashes for no apparent reason.

I've read through this forum for similar but no of the solutions seem to apply to my setup. The PC I am running utorrent on is purely for downloads & other than XP automatic updates never has any software changes. The only software running other than XP & it's start up stuff is a copy of emule 0.48a. Oh & my firewall is the built in XP one & I run AVG.

All was good on utorrent until version 1.7.7. It would just run & run & run. Then I switched to 1.7.7 & it just crashes randomly for no reason I can figure, and it's so annoying that it can't just restart itself, instead waiting for user input & thus wasting many hours of download time when a night time crash occurs.

I recently went back to version 1.6.1 & ran this for 72 hrs... No crash. However I use thebox.bx a lot & they don't seem to keen on this version.

Plus the system has recently been formatted, I have so far 6 .dmp files but I'm not sure where to upload these for examination?

Any ideas or help? Thanks in advance.

Usually people upload them to http://mediafire.com if they're requesting help with a specific issue... however be sure that your dmps are received on the server, if you say "yes, send dump"

As far as extra stuff... have you checked HiJackThis? You may have something installed you don't know about. Also, what kind of internet do you have and how do you connect to it?

Upload crash dumps in the µTorrent settings and/or settings directory to mediafire.com or savefile.com.

a) get HijackThis from trendsecure.com, run it, view the log, and post the contents here

get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, Ctrl+D (to show the lower DLL pane), select the µTorrent process from the list, Ctrl+S (and save the list somewhere you'll find easily -- like the Desktop), then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here
