VaktBleppe Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 I formated my computer and and installed utorrent and it needed to re-check the torrents i was downloading. but it is checking less 0.1% per second so it takes extremely long time if so each % takes more then 10seconds. DreadWingKnight Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 Check the drive's transfer mode in the properties of the IDE channel in device manager.If the current transfer mode (not the drop-down) is PIO, uninstall the channel and restart the machine. VaktBleppe Posted June 24, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 Btw the disk is not hearable working when re-check. is doing an defrag now and there is hearable working.When the defrag came to the downloaded files it almost stopped and was quiet. so maby the files is corrupt or something.And the disk was in PIO. now Ultra DMA Mode 6. i also did and scandisk. it seems to work better now. hope it works fine it worked superb. got around 3-5% per second on dvdr as usual now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
