JZN
HiHow do I update the *.torrent file to recognice the allready downloaded file? I have just updated my client from bitlord to utorrent and I want to upload some of my already finished movies and games. How do I make the utorrent to connect the tracker to the finished file???JZN
Firon
You have to find where BitLord stores the .torrent files and re-load them in µTorrent.
JZN
@ Fironthat isn't the problem have already done that... But the .torrent files don't find the already downloaded file (mpg, img, iso and so on) so the .torrent starts to download the file from 0 again... Firon
You have to point it to the correct folder. What I suggest you do is select the torrents you loaded in µt and Remove and -> Delete .torrent + DataRe-load the torrent, and this time point it to the correct folder. (one level above the torrent data folder: if the torrent makes a folder named "album", you would point it to the folder "album" is in, NOT "album") if using 1.
micromachine
Yah, what Firon said. Basically, find your old .torrent files. In utorrent, go file ---> add torrent (no default save). Then point the save to the folder containing your finished torrent. So for example if I want to reseed "Kanye West - Late Registration" I'd open the .torrent and point it to the "My Music" folder.
