jewelisheaven
I think he thinks that the network status icon is a stagnant icon... and that uT must be exited for it to change. This is an incorrect interpretation of the icon. It changes as often as 5 minutes between status changes. It also can take as long as an hour to register low connectivity/problems.
fjdslafjdsklaa
A right click on it should make a menu pop up, and then an option that says refresh on the menu. Right now it seems like the DHT and scheduler menu pop up when it is clicked, and it overflows from the adjacent status bar box. This would not be hard to add... jewelisheaven
Refresh what? The update is instantaneous actually, from a yellow to green status... Try it, have uT running without a forwarded port, or on a non-forwarded port. Open preferences, change port, say OK. Start a new torrent (one where your old port isn't already in the peer cache of other users) and you'll see the icon go green the instant someone makes an inbound connection to you.
